Yoga is a process that accumulates over time. Posture does not occur naturally. To be effective, yoga requires practice. But doing too many poses is not a good thing. Pose is one of the eight branches of yoga and one of the methods for understanding the body and senses.
Doing asana can help a person achieve higher consciousness, as many things happen during asana. Your body becomes stronger and more stable, and your mind becomes calmer and more stable. Although twisting and bending your body is a very important part of your yoga practice, yoga is mainly a practice of your entire body.
Nowadays, too many people are obsessed with postures. They believe that the deeper the body bends, the more self actualizing it is. Even stretching too much. Sometimes I will practice excessively, practicing in the morning and then practicing at night. Of course, the more you focus on your practice, the more you understand your body. However, we often go too far and too fast, thinking that we will arrive at a better place faster. This will not only harm your body, but also your senses and even your organs. Doing too many poses will not bring you closer to spirituality or self actualization, but it will keep you away from spirituality or self actualization.
Part of the reason why people are obsessed with doing poses may be because there are many online photos of poses and introductions on how to do them. There are also various promotions, such as a teacher giving a lecture on handstands or backbends, so many people go to learn. In fact, workshops can teach you how to practice asanas and attempt to explain how energy flows in one way or another, but we all have different structures and body types.
Guru will not teach you the techniques of experiencing yoga. He will teach you how to experience yoga naturally in your own body, how to feel comfortable in a posture, and the teacher or guru will first understand the experience of yoga. Everyone must experience this posture on their own, which will be different from their Guru experience.
We should learn some principles, not just handstands and backbends. They must find this higher consciousness and make their hearts stronger, rather than playing acrobatics. To practice yoga, we must first understand and correct our basic principles. To strengthen our foundation, asana is a way of strengthening our foundation, which will lead us towards spirituality and higher levels of cultivation. But for asanas, you should do them intelligently and consciously, rather than just thinking rationally or imitating others' exercises.
When the foundation is correct and strong, yoga will naturally occur. If you try to do this by copying someone else's method, it will never happen. This is a natural process. When you consciously practice, you can recognize and understand many things through asana practice. But doing it over and over again can damage your senses and body. This will cause you a lot of harm
